Yseult of Orkney

Short Description:

Yseult was princess of Atlantia from 04/26/1977-09/24/1977.

Poem (Canso):

The principality's still treasured throne,
That insubstantial font of ancient fame,
First gained its royal grace when Caer Mear's own
Was princess crowned -- the sweet Yseult by name.

Yseult in grand and splendid court would rule
And touch each subject's heart with silent love.
Or when the feast was served she'd play the fool
And tickle feet below the salt above.

Yet neither costume jewels on royal brow
Nor foolish pranks beneath some victim's plate
Diminished her. For noble hearts know how
To be themselves. They make the common, great.

Because of her inherent majesty
Atlantia embraced Her Serenity.
